Very hard to find.  Often go for $45 each.  You can substitute a 59/66 buttpad.  Not perfect but better than nothing and about $15 from Apex.

You need to post more info, wood fixed stock or metal underfolder, we aren't all mind readers.  Perhaps a google search is in your future, try the link under my sig line image.

I have a Yugo M90 AK chambered in 762Nato.

Originally it came with that Plastic Thumbhole stock.
I've replaced it with an ACE folding/skeleton stock several years ago.
Few years back I ordered a USA made furniture kit from Ironwooddesigns for my M90.
It basically has everything except the rubber buttpad.

I'm not an expert or anything...but, last I checked, no weapon of Kalashnikov make fires...

Nevermind, just found information on the M90 that does in fact fire 7.62x51. Carry on.

There are a few AK variants in 7.62x51..., but never mind.  As I noted the buttpads are $$ but you can check Gunbroker or the gun sites.  You may have to pay up to $45 for the buttpad unless you get lucky and find one cheaper.  Some are well worn from he Balkan M70 rifles.  But for the M90 rifle I think spending the $$ is certainly worth it.

I would check with this fellow "moab" at Legion Arms.  He does not list the part but does, or did, have a lot of Yugo parts.

Nice rifle.  Yes..., I would put the wood buttstock back on it and not sure about that AK74 muzzle device.  . The folder looks good but that rifle is a sweet collector.
I have a very nice Yugo M95A Yugo in 5/56/.223.  I built it from a virgin kit several years ago.  Has the adjustable gas system and same front end as your 90.  Not as nice as a Mitchell but a sweet rifle. IMHO

Likely your Mitchell originally came with the large wooden pistol grip as well..., like in this Yugo M76 stock set below:

Not original Yugo buttpads.  They sell commercial types and extended.

Nice rifle.

I got the set on Top.

Nice stock set..., next to the original Yugo stuff that is as good as it gets.  Do you have or still have the stock Through bolt to mount the buttstock?

Finally had a chance to dig out my Ironwood & Thumbhole stock out of my garage.
Unfortunately I dont have the long buttstock screw. I thought I did.
Turns out the thumbhole stock was held on via the Pistol Grip screw only.

Now I gotta find a Long buttstock screw.
Anyone know the exact dimensions? Maybe I can get one at the local hardware store.

Btw, I notice there isnt a WTS forum. What is the proper protocol for selling something?

You need like 50 posts or something to buy or sell on this site.  The through bolt is a 8mm.  You can get threaded rod but also Apex sells the Yugo bolt for $7.

AKBlue,

U da man. That screw will fit for sure? M72 / m90 same length?

Is there a difference in buttstock length or mounting hardware for a regular Yugo ak47 buttstock?

I thought they all mounted the same?

Do U think that m76 8mm 10rd mag will fit my Yugo m90/762nato?
