Best SKS setup ever !
« on: March 20, 2011, 06:21:47 AM »
- Handpicked, Unissued, All matching SKS ( http://www.westrifle.com )
- tech sights ( SKSman.com )
- tech sights .041 aperture insert (TechSights.com)
- Williams fire sight front post ( SKSman.com )
- Metal handgaurd ( SKSman.com )
- Buffer (TechSights.com)

Forking out the Extra 25$ for a handpick was well worth it... :D

This is the best SKS setup ever ( FOR ME ) ;)

That is indeed nice. Definitely one of the nicer SKS's I've seen on here. I really gotta get me a Russian.

I like it! Very good job on this. I need to try that front and rear sight.
What? Me worry?

Nothing worst then taking an SKS and buying a bunch of plastic junk to put it in.

The amount of money I see people paying for a mall ninja SKS is unbelivable....

its cheaper to buy a CZ858 ... lol...

for 225$ up here in Canada for a # matching unrefurb SKS is the most expensive one you can buy... lol... Except for the 1949's

I was going to ask if you were in Canada!

An incredible non refurb 1951 to throw tech sights on the receiver and mark it up!

Must be nice to have an almost endless supply of beautiful non refurb rifles, for dirt cheap prices.

Ive put 2 crates of surplus ammo thru it so far, and I still dont have any marks from the tech sights... My receiver is origianl blued and not painted like the cheap refurbs . so that might help it out a bit.

Beautiful rifle, but...

Just as an aside: When you replace the wood with a cheese grater, you no longer have a handguard... You have a hotplate!   ;) :)

Here's my question: Are these permanent changes? I may have missed something but it looks like he could take all of those off and return it to stock without any problems.
