I got one of these for cheap, have never shot one, and know nothing about muzzleloaders. It was painted green camo and I got all that paint off. It now looks pretty respectable although the bore is very rusty. To clean the bore, does the breech hook in the back come out somehow? (the thing that plugs the rear of the barrel and the tang hangs on). I found PDF instructions that helped me figure out how the ramrod spring goes back in but can't figure out if this plug even comes out. Do I need to take out the screw that holds the nipple in?
