Benchmade Nimravus 140?
« on: August 25, 2011, 10:46:03 PM »
Anyone have any experience with this particular knife. I was just informed that I am the proud new owner of one. My friend came across a few in Afghanistan and grabbed one for me. I should probably receive it sometime next month. It has the combo edge.  8)

Great knives....I'm a fan, and keep the "twins" strapped up on my tactical vest in case SHTF. Here they are before I got them tied into the vest.

You must be a fan if you got 2 of them. I just saw how much they cost, holy smokes!

Keep your eye's open in the B/S/T threads (I'm on a multitude of forums).... I got the last one (top) for $70 bucks shipped.

$70 isn't bad. I saw the MSRP is $175 and most places I saw were selling them for $150. I don't know what kind of deal my buddy "stumbled" on, but it had to have been a good one. He got 3 of them.

USA made, 154cm, decent blade shape, those features alone are well worth a premium.

I'd question the lack of a cross guard, and the short length for a fixed blade, but for a daily use beater for chores where it's appropriate to carry a fixed blade, it looks like it'd do very well.
All might be free if they valued freedom, and defended it as they should.
