<< < (4/16) > >>

SKSer45:
at AK. You got a source for that? On the forums I hear my sling or the AK Romy Sling was used on some early models and later on the doggie collar come on. I mean its not a big deal but just was wondering.

Man you guys are lucky! I just spent 110 dollars on a Original 98k Mauser sling with Waffen Ampts and matching date of my rifle.! Damn all that for a piece of leather lol.

mr.coinring:

yeah agree. Or maybe the correct sling for the correct time? I saw the ones on e-bay just now and they look pretty beat up.

Old Outlaw:
I have went by Yooper Johns site and other very large and long time collectors opinions.
To me, the first Romanians had the dog collar sling with the "D" ring. Followed up by the red leather
AK style sling. I believe the two are appropriate. But some of the first Romanian rifles that came here apparently did have the dog collar style. The early style is my choice as well as others.

mr.coinring:
I have a well used "dog collar" sling on my #s matching Romy and I did not want a "new" looking one.  The rifle is used, so in my opinion it looks best with a not so "pristine" sling.

Thanks again sksrosie!!!
