FINALLY...Now with crappy picts
« on: February 25, 2012, 12:42:10 PM »
I've got the two Rommys I've been lusting after in 10 day Kail Jail (9 and counting). A '59 & a '60, both rough looking which I guess is not uncommon. They're re-furbed with forced match, one has matching numbered stock, the others in a black Tapco (original furniture is cracked), bayos, no slings, rods, or kits. I'm happy. Also picked up 2 Glenfield 75 carbines configured a little differently from each other. Picts or it didn't happen, right! Maybe I'll just let yous guys and goils suffer....not. Before & afters comming. PAX
HERE THEY ARE! Apparently they're in typical condition for Romys. '60 top, '59 bottom. The '60s stock is cracked at the pistol grip and came in a black Tapco. I put it back in the OG wood for picts. The '59 seems the better of the two and I'll probably clean it up and leave it be, as it looks as if it's seen action. I'm a very happy camper, $548 for both (with an extra stock & the Tapco), which is good by Kali standards and very hard to find at those prices these days. The market here has gone crazy with the SKS baseline now at $400 and inventory thin. PAX
