Magpul 10 round Magazines for Zastava

I live in NJ, so strict firearms laws… (it’s almost worth moving, but that’s another story!)

Anyway, just got a new Zastava M70, and I love it. It came with a 30 round mag which I had to have blocked. I’d like to get a bunch of 10 rounds magazines. Are all AK magazines interchangeable with a Zastava? I saw a bunch of Magpul polymer mags online and wondering if that’ll work.  It I thought I’d ask the experts here first before I order and find out the hard way.

Yeah, any standard AK mag should work.  The caveat is once in a while its rifle and/or mag dependent for functionality, but in theory they should work as designed, Zastavas are all designed to run regular old AK mags.

I have a kci 10 rounder that hasn't given me any issues out of a mak90. Not my go to mag (no magazine cap) I usually run the 30s. But the 20 and 10 round mags get thrown in the mix all the time.

Heard stories of bad/weak springs but have not encountered it yet. I have 6 kci mags for ak47 all have functioned as they should.

I got a few Magpul and a few metal KCI magazines. They worked just fine.

Thanks for your advice. This Zastava is a great rifle. I put about 200 rounds through it and it was fairly accurate. About what I would have expected.
