F-Class Bolt Gun for Flo
Rocketvapor:
Think I am done with trigger springs.
Took the 3.5oz blade spring out and installed the 1.8oz blade spring in Flo's rifle and total force went UP from 7oz to about 7.8oz.
(blade spring helps trigger)
Cut about 1/2 turn off trigger spring and got Total pull force of less than 7.055oz (200 gram weight).
Digital gauge indicates about 6.6 to 6.8oz.
I'll just call it 2oz/7oz with a noticeable step in force from blade to tripping the trigger.
Rocketvapor:
Went to my high priced range in Bogalusa and due to miscommunication, 600 e-target wasn't set up.
Could have asked but decided on walking a target, and BulletCam out to 200 yds.
Got up to 90F and 200 was far enough :)
Flo beat my groups most of the morning (just barely :) ) with her bolt gun.
Final challenge, last remaining shots (I had 6, she had 10), winner gets top.
Green squares are about 1/2 MOA, 3 inch dots, at 200yds
Who Won???
Savage with new trigger springs. 2oz blade, 7oz total.

Rocketvapor:
May 600yd match got rained out.
So we went today for some trigger time.
Shotmarker was set up with bottom leads reversed.
Walked out to put up a witness splatter target (8")
SM and Paper seemed to match. Just under an MOA @600.
Got beat (just barely).
I think it was the new paint job on her rest
Rocketvapor:
FORUM IS BACK :)
Up late charging brass for a Tuesday practice session and a Saturday match.
Rocketvapor:
Got another match this coming Saturday.
I'll shoot my canted AR and Flo will shoot her Savage with all the bells and whistle mods I've done.
Increased Pin Fall, Spring mod, RV's special Bolt Lift Kit, and increased Primary Extraction.
Latest mod is to the Savage Rear Baffle.
