now this I find interesting, I have looked at these closely and when I come across another bubba I'm going to put together a build with one of these...I have a couple projects before I get to it but I do like your stock from what I've seen.

That's what we like to hear!  Let us know how your build turns out when you do it - we love seeing everyone's Sabertooth builds!

Any chance we could get a limited run of these with the magwell opened up further for the SKS-M and SKS-D that take AK mags? I have an SKS-M (AK mags) that really needs a chassis.

According to the website, the MK II chasis will accept SKS - D, M

Copied from the above link:

The SABERTOOTH MK-II is compatible with original fixed internal magazine, duckbill style mags, and with SKS-D and M models.  The removable dustcover block enables easy cleaning and service, and seamlessly blends with the chassis when installed.  The SABERTOOTH MK-II is recessed at the rear of the receiver to allow the optional addition of a top rail over the receiver.

This is a very interesting product.  I would like to see the price point lower.  I am sure there is significant R&D money to recover as well as general production cost.  $300 is a lot to spend on a rifle that I paid about that much for.  I do have an 'M' that is in need of a better stock.  I hate the dumb thumbhole one.

So, I have inside information that the MkIIs don't work with AK mags. If that's untrue, I'd appreciate it if MA could confirm.

Hi -- sorry for the delay.  We never got notification of your message and I just noticed it now as I was about to do a fresh new post.

The MK-II Sabertooth is definitely compatible with SKS M & D models which accept AK mags.

The MK-I was not compatible, but we changed that!

Hope that helps -- even if it's a month later!
