So I've been putting off my AK build since this is my first and am a bit intimidated by drilling all the holes and getting the rails set correctly. Recently I came across and bought an AK receiver with all holes drilled. The rear trunion installed with rivets. The trigger guard installed and even the rails installed.
Now my problem is finding a way to press on the front trunion and other parts to the barrel without spending a fortune buying special tools I may never use again. Any ideas on how to approach this? I live near Cincinnati OH and don't know anyone with the right tools. Any suggestions? If this was a SKS I could just about put one together from scratch with my eyes closed. But AK building is totally new to me.

Two year old thread.  If you use Google you will fund ways to install barrels using threaded rods through the bore. You do not state if the front rivets are in place but a set of Harbor Freight bolt cutters can be fashioned to squeeze the front trunnion rivets etc.

You Tube has hundreds of how to videos with simple or homemade tools etc.

Putting together a SKS would require headspace gauges, barrel vise etc.  Not plug n play nor is the AK assembly.

Maybe I should start a new thread, would probably get more responses.Thank you for the advice on the barrel installation. My front trunion is not installed yet so the front rivets are not in place yet. I have priced the modification for the rivet installer and it costs close to $100. As for the barrel tool to install  the barrel in the trunion after it is riveted in place it cost around $175. That's $275 in tools I really would prefer not sinking more money into. What I'm wondering is does anyone already have these tools that would be willing to help me. I should have been more clear. And I would be willing to reimburse whoever helped me for their time.
As for building SKS rifles I have built from scratch quite a few with great success. Started with receivers without barrels and went from there. No problems.
