That's just the source water for the pond. Collected off the house roof. Used as the tank on the "toilet". It's also used for their drinking water. It provides a lot of water pressure too.
Our house is on a steep hill and the useable land is down below. It's so steep I have to rely on a 4-wheeler to carry things up and down. So I've taken the time to trench rain water, city water and electric down to the flat area where I have the animals, green house and fruit trees soon. The duck pond is a stock tank buried in the ground.
When this is done I'll make a video and put it on YouTube. It's elaborate but for convenience sake. And to make the HOA happy.
