I'd been holding off on getting another one due to pricing, but an enabler friend told me of $375 Chinese/Albanian grease monsters which is a little less than places like Palmetto are asking.
Dive into the toy fund and ordered one. Yep! A gen-u-ine grease monster! After removing several ounces of Albanian cosmolene, it didn't look too bad. There was a stock crack near the magazine I thought I could live with.
Then I found a Chinese spike cut stock on gunborker for $40 & grabbed it. In the process of swapping stocks, I discovered they don't interchange with a drop in fit. Fixed that & attached a 1" stock extension that helped more than I thought it would.
While it was clear apart, I found some Albanian bonehead had used the firing pin for a punch & battered it to the extent it was a guaranteed slammy slam fire/FA. Replaced that & the function test of 3 rounds went well. Now to give it an accuracy test... and look for another one!
